When I first started my recovery with mental health, addiction, and alcoholism journaling was my escape from the trauma and unhealthy self-medication. Journaling allowed me to begin to truly heal; as the more writing I did, the more I began to heal.
 
We chose to honor the late and great Notorious BIG with a quote from his song Juicy. “Yeah, this album is dedicated to all the teachers that told me I’d never amount to nothing…” We chose this part because as two high school dropouts we were often told we would never amount to nothing.
 
We encourage you to write and journal. You never know where the adventure will take you.
